Baby steps taken with a grain of salt
by Israel Ricky Gonzales inseeing how my jw wife nearly lost it when i woke up to ttatt and was df'd just over a year ago, she has been showing cracks in her armor.. 1. she has stopped pioneering to resume her good-paying career, working full-time.. 2. she suggested marriage counseling.. 3. she suggested going to a latin rap concert at a casino for our anniversary.. 4. when we reconciled recently and began living together as a family again, she agreed to alternate weeks of jw activity with the kids, one week doing the jw thing with her and the next week not doing the jw thing with me .
5. she hasn't had perfect attendance at meetings or for field service since she started working full-time.
just last night, she skipped meeting to help co-workers prepare food for an employee appreciation luncheon held today.

Watchtower Bible and Tract Society WILL be dropped... I believe they'll eventually have to distance themselves from the 'WATCHTOWER', they already started by substitutingI agree your idea Marvster, Little by little they are making changes and I believe they are setting the groundwork for making the change in 1914. Just not sure yet how they will pull it.

Wow, I didn't know that. That is a good thing. Before, the WT prided in saying that they would never cancel the great spiritual feast of food the conventions provided.

Hundreds of new ex-jw YouTube Videos, books, blogs, Vlogs and. recovery sites. Its been over 100 years since Jesus started ruling, and every month some nasty skeleton falls out of the Watchtower closet.
What will the Watchtower look like in 30 years?
Will there still be a Governing Body?
Will they finally drop 1914?
Will the blood doctrine finally be dropped?
Will disfellowshipping be dropped?
Will there still be Circuit Overseers, Elders, Pioneers?
Will there still be Judicial Committees?
Will they still have conventions 3 times a year?
How many meetings will they have a week?
Will they still go door to door preaching?
Will they drop the name; “Watchtower Bible and Tract Society?”
How many members will they have worldwide?
Can you imagine in the year 2050 going door to door and preaching;
“Hello, we here this morning announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom that started ruling in the year 1914”

Wife Equates Having A Good Marriage With Being "Spiritual"
by JW_Rogue inso i've noticed lately that my wife seems to think that in order to have a good marriage both people must be "spiritual".
she thinks being close as a family is all about family worship night, field service and praying together.
i know where these ideas are coming from but it is very hard to combat them.

For example Esther was a spiritual Believer and worshiper of Jehovah and King Ahasuerus was not a worshiper of Jehovah.
Yet what the Bible record say.

I'm sorry, I am out of the loop here.This was the time when they came up with the book of Revelation I believe in the 80s. It was a big deal back then. Then we studied the book for about 4 or 5 times. It depicts the situation after the 1000 years reign of JC when many will not like the situation of a paradise earth and rebel.
